DataLogger.pk ("DataLogger," "we," "us," or "our") provides IoT and sensor-based data logging, monitoring, and analytics services (the "Service") that allow users to collect, store, visualize, and export data from connected devices and sensors. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have regarding your data when you use our website, dashboard, mobile app, or APIs (collectively, the "Platform").
By creating an account or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

- Account information: name, email address, phone number, organization name, username, and password (stored in hashed form).
- Billing information: if you subscribe to a paid plan, billing address and payment details processed via our third-party payment processor.

2.2 Device & Sensor Data
- Logged data: readings and measurements transmitted by the devices, loggers, or sensors you connect to the Platform (e.g. temperature, humidity, voltage, GPS coordinates, or other configured metrics).
- Device metadata: device IDs, firmware version, connection timestamps, signal strength, and configuration settings.
- Location data: where a connected device reports GPS or location coordinates, or where you manually tag a device's location.
2.3 Automatically Collected Information
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, dashboard interactions, and timestamps.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and referring URLs.
- Cookies and similar technologies: as described in Section 6.
3. How We Use Your Data

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews — to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Data Retention
We retain account information for as long as your account is active. Logged sensor data is retained according to the retention period associated with your subscription plan, after which it may be automatically archived or deleted. You may request earlier deletion of your data as described in Section 9.
9. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or update your personal information.
- Request a copy or export of your data.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Withdraw consent for optional data processing (e.g. marketing communications).
- Object to or restrict certain types of processing.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 13. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe in accordance with applicable law.
10. Children's Privacy
The Platform is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required by your local law), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
11. International Users
DataLogger.pk is operated from Pakistan. If you access the Platform from outside Pakistan, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in Pakistan or other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Platform, you consent to this transfer, in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Platform or by email prior to taking effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
